Last year was a big year!
It was a wonderful year! I can’t believe so many things can happen and how so many things can change. For me , it was a year of change, excitement and challenges. After our wedding, I finally moved to the United States with the love of my life. Leaving my family and friends was not easy , it’s still not at all. But I see them often, I have traveled back and forth to Costa Rica two times this year and both visits were awesome. I do miss my neighborhood , the weather and the food, but that doesn’t keep me from enjoying Minnesota. I enjoy the weather crazy changes, the seasons , the city, the country, the different light and the food my in-laws make.
I started my photography business here with a lot of excitement. I have gained lots of knowledge about managing my business I never thought I could. Like a friend of mine says “It takes a small village to run a business” , but sometimes you just have to multitask I have met wonderful people from whom I have learned a lot and I hope someday I can pass that on.
In regards to my photography, I feel I am more true to my style, I have found what brings me inspiration and I keep loving photography as it was new to me.
I have found that I love every time more family sessions because I always have so much fun! I want to take more sessions and continue to do the weddings I adore to do. I am so glad I am working with people – photographing people, real people . It is very clear to me that is what I love to do and I am so lucky I get to do it.

I have a lot of projects and goals for this 2012, but the main one is to be happy – even if I don’t accomplish all my goals or finish all my projects. Welcome 2012, I can’t wait to see what happens next!

After all that babbling I leave you with a snapshot of myself in the middle of trying to make a Happy New Year Card :P
Leave me a comment! I would love to hear about what you hope for this 2012.
